Noel Clarke

Award Winning Actor and Writer

Noel Clarke joined St Charles from Burlington Danes School in 1992. Noel followed GCSE courses and then an A level programme in Media Studies, Theatre Studies and PE. Soon after leaving college he broke into acting, won theatre awards, and secured TV parts including significant roles in Doctor Who and Auf Wiedersehen Pet. Since then Noel has established himself as a writer and film director, and his most notable releases – in which he also starred – are Kidulthood and Adulthood.

"St Charles College put me on the path that I am on today. Studying the A levels I did fuelled the passion I had for acting and I was encouraged every step of the way. Without the support of the College and its staff, I wouldn’t be doing what I am now.”
