Victoria

Nalubega

Victoria achieved a triple distinction in her Level 3 Business Course and she plans on going to university to study Law with Business. She would like to join the legal sector of a humanitarian organisation like the UN, Red Cross or British Army.

I would recommend St Charles to anyone thinking of coming here because of the academic, religious and moral support that I have received from the Business Department and the College in general. The support I received from the Careers Department during the UCAS process, specifically from the Careers Advisor, was the thing that I liked best about my time at the College. One-to-one sessions helped me to see which courses were available at university and which would be best for me.

The College campus has many different reading and study spaces available to students, such as the Learning Resource Centre, the Learning Support Department and Careers. All these things helped me to gain good grades that will help me in my next walk of life - and to be proud of myself and never give up.

In my first year at St Charles, I was part of the annual Cabaret performance. We put on a production of Annie and I was part of the ensemble cast. It was being part of the Cabaret that allowed me to meet my closest friends to date.

The teachers and all the staff members are supportive and eager to help in every situation.
