Sybil achieved a triple distinction in the Extended Diploma in Business and she plans to do a degree/apprenticeship in Business Administration, which she hopes will allow her to work for a company and gain skills, as well as earning her a qualification.
St Charles is a really good college with good teachers who help you to progress further and encourage you to do well academically. The environment and the atmosphere created by the teachers are both very welcoming and friendly and this really helps students to feel comfortable.
The teachers have individual learning plans for students, where they spend time with the student and provide them with feedback on their academic journey. This really helps students understand where they stand and how they can progress further. The teachers are very helpful and care about students and make sure that they understand everything. They are patient and help students achieve what they are capable of.
There are a lot of different extra-curricular activities to choose from at St Charles and this helps students have something outside of their academic life. This can help you to make new friends and gain new experiences. I participated in Young Enterprise as part of the Enrichment programme at St Charles. My team started a business which sold multifunction pens. Though we didn't win the competition, I gained a new experience and learnt how to stay dedicated and committed to something. I also met a lot of new people and came across new ideas. I believe these skills will help me in both my professional and personal life.
St Charles helped me to grow as a person. It improved my confidence and helped me to gain new experiences. I learnt to understand my capabilities and was exposed to different people and ideas, which helped me learn new things.
I also learnt to stay focused and develop self-discipline and time management skills, which helped me with my study.
The College campus is good and spacious and provides a comforting atmosphere. The location is very peaceful and quiet.
