Diocesan Inspection Report for St Charles 2019
St Charles was inspected by the Diocese of Westminster earlier this year and the report was published in May. Diocesan inspections aim to assess the quality of classroom religious education and the Catholic life of the school or college. It is also an opportunity for the Diocese to inform parents and the wider Catholic community on the quality of religious education at the institution.
Our teaching staff gave a very positive impression to the inspectors and teaching was overall found to be consistently good across the Religious Studies department. The students "demonstrated excellent behaviour and positive attitudes towards the subject, especially in A level lessons."
Prayer and liturgy were found to be "central to the college's understanding of itself as a Catholic college [and] Inspectors observed some outstanding examples of tutor time prayer."
