Year 13s have been studying Complimentary Therapies in Health and Social Care and, earlier this week, they had a Reflexologist come into their lesson to talk about the therapy, explain what a Reflexologist does and how they can help people.
Some of the students were lucky enough to have a mini reflexology treatment demonstrated on them in class!
Reflexology is a type of massage on the feet, used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points in the feet, hands and head that are linked to every part of the body.
The students really enjoyed the visit and found it very beneficial for their studies.
