Badminton history made at St Charles

Friday evening saw our inaugural college badminton tournament - 22 staff and students battled it out to be crowned king/queen of the court. It was great to see every hall represented and staff getting involved, it made for a highly competitive all inclusive tournament played in front of a great crowd, it should be noted that Jones Gomes (Soubirious Hall) had a huge fan club who showed great support throughout. 

After nearly two hours of thrilling and tightly contested action it game down to the final 4; Mr Hall, Mr Cernuschi, Mr Oladunjoye and Ayodh Kankanamge

After three tightly contested games, that showcased all fours skills, endurance, determination and above all sportsmanship it was Ben Oladunjoye who was crowned our first ever St Charles Badminton champion.
